PDFs and local drafts

PDF files are generated in your browser. Previewing or downloading a PDF does not upload its contents. Save draft stores the invoice and logo in local browser storage. Local drafts do not sync and are accessible to people using the same browser profile. Delete a local draft from the editor or clear browser data to remove it.

Invoices saved to your account

When you choose Save to account, the invoice fields and logo are uploaded over HTTPS and stored for your signed-in account. They can include your name, address, client details, line items, prices, bank details and notes. The document payload is encrypted in the database. Access through the application is restricted to its owner; the service decrypts it when you open it. This is server-side storage encryption, not end-to-end encryption.

You can save up to 100 invoices and 20 MB per account. Documents remain until you delete them or the account is deleted. Delete removes the live account copy. Restricted historical backups are not erased immediately. Downloaded PDFs and local drafts are separate copies and are not removed when you delete an account invoice.

Accounts and operational information

The account service stores your email address, display name, currency preference, hashed password, verification state and account security information. Session activity may include IP addresses and browser information. Hosting logs contain ordinary request information such as IP address, request path and time. Invoice contents are not sent to analytics, and there are no advertising trackers in the editor.

Export and deletion

Under Account → Data & privacy, you can export your account data, including invoices saved to the account. Treat the export as private. Account closure requires email confirmation, a seven-day cancellation period and administrator review. Deleting the account removes saved invoices from the live database; historical backups follow their separate retention procedures.
